Awards

Green Mountain Dog Club (GMDC) has developed two Achievement Programs to honor the importance of members participating in activities with their dogs.

Because GMDC is a licensed American Kennel Club (AKC) All Breed Club, titles must be recognized by AKC. Awards will be presented at the GMDC annual membership meeting and banquet in October.

Title recognition certificate:

This award is for any member who has completed an AKC title (or other title recognized by the AKC). The recipient will receive a certificate honoring the title completed. An application must be sent to the Awards Chair by (October 15, 2025), representing titles earned between September 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025. If multiple titles were earned during that time, then multiple entries may be submitted.

​Green Mountain Dog Club Award:

​This award is to honor the lifetime achievement of a dog. This award is intended to be given out once in a dog’s lifetime, typically at the end of a dog’s career and once all titles have been achieved. This award will be in the form of a plaque. An application must be sent to the Awards Chair by October 1, 2025.
