OUR AUGUST MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 28 AT THE PLANETARY ART INSTITUTE, (CAMP MEADE), 961 US-2, MIDDLESEX, VT 05602 (In Camp Meade, near the Red Hen Bakery on Route 2 in Middlesex). Wonderful takeout available across the street at CHICO'S TACOS AND BAR. Plan to arrive early and order food to enjoy during the meeting!

Join us in person at the Duxbury Town Offices at 7:30 p.m. for the last regular meeting of 2025! (October is the Annual Meeting, November is our program meeting, and who knows what we might get up to in December).  We'll have coffee and goodies for those who attend in person, and a Zoom option for those who don't!

October 1, 2025 is the deadline to submit your application for the Green Mountain Dog Club award.  This lifetime achievement award  is typically given after a dog has retired from competition.  The plaque will be presented at the annual banquet.

October 15 is the deadline to submit your title award application(s) for titles earned by member-owned dogs between September 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025.  Award certificates will be presented at the annual meeting on October 27.

The May meetings of the Green Mountain Dog Club will be held on Thursday, May 21st in person at the Duxbury Town Office Select Board Room, 5421 VT Route 100, Duxbury VT, 05676 or via Zoom (see below for links] Board Meeting 6:30 PM General Meeting 7:30 PM Meetings are now the third Thursday of the month!!!!  And because it's summer, (or at least no longer winter), we are also meeting  in person.  Bring a snack to share if you can! If you are joining us via Zoom,  please note that the Board Meeting and the General Meeting now have separate links. If you are attending both meetings (all members are welcome to sit in on board meetings), you will have to exit the board meeting before 7:30 and sign back into the General Meeting. Join Green Mountain Dog Club for drop-in conformation practice on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM at Farr's Field (Waterbury Flea Market), 2 miles west of Waterbury on US Rt. 2.  As we go along, we'll be adding rally/obedience practice, some classes, and some workshops and "try-it" events.  Watch this site and our Facebook page for updates!  Hopefully they'll have the big white tent up for the season so we can practice rain or shine!
