FastCAT Fun Run

FastCAT 2025 is over and done! Join us when we announce the date for Spring 2026 at the Dac Rowe Athletic Fields in Waterbury, VT.

This is a non-sanctioned event for fun and practice — it’s a great way for new or inexperienced dogs (and handlers) to try the sport, and for experienced dogs to brush up after winter.

The FunRun fills up fast! To avoid disappointment, please register early. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fit in any unentered dogs on the day.

• We will likely offer only one day in Spring and Fall of 2026.
  
• Entries are limited to 20 dogs per block, and each can run up to three times. (We strongly recommend three runs for most dogs — it often takes several tries for a newcomer to understand and enjoy the game).
  
• Minimum age to run is 6 months, and puppies aged 6-12 months may only run 50 yards to avoid injury. Please use your best judgement with young adults, especially giant breeds, to avoid stressing their joints. Running hard in a straight line is very different from playing in the back yard.
  
• To enter your dog, fill out and submit  the entry form.  Now, select your time block and number of runs and add it to the shopping cart.  We must have a separate registration for each dog. Entries are not complete until we have received BOTH your entry form and  payment.
  

ENTRIES CLOSE WHEN THE LIMIT FOR EACH BLOCK IS REACHED.  WE USUALLY REACH THE LIMIT VERY QUICKLY.  SORRY, WE CANNOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR NO-SHOWS OR CANCELLATIONS AFTER ENTRIES HAVE CLOSED FOR YOUR BLOCK.
