Rosettes and awards
Rosette and award sponsorships are due by FRIDAY APRIL 24 for the upcoming Vermont Scenic Circuit Dog Shows. If you would like to donate rosettes or some type of trophy or award and have your name and kennel name in the premium list, now is the time! Here’s what you need to do:

What can YOUR dog do?
From FastCAT to Rally Obedience, Agility to Dog Sledding, there are so many fun things to do with your dog! Join us at Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury on November 1 to learn more about dog sports and activities. Members of the Green Mountain Dog Club will be there to offer demonstrations in the center ring, share photos and materials to help you get started.

Introduction to rat sports For its November 2024 program meeting, Green Mountain Dog Club hosted a free zoom seminar on “Rat Sports 101” From the advance writeup:“Whether you’re curious about what various Rat Sports are out there or are already experienced, this is your chance to learn more and get your questions answered! We will be discussing Happy Ratters and Barn Hunt primarily, but will also touch on Earth Dog. We’re passionate about bringing Rat Sports to Vermont, and we can’t wait to share it with you all!” That was back in 2024, but fortunately, the program was recorded to share:

Vermont Scenic Circuit Dog Shows July 10-13
MARK YOUR CALENDAR! The Vermont Scenic Circuit Dog Shows will be back again in Tunbridge, Vermont July 10-13, 2025. Presented jointly by Woodstock Dog Club and Green Mountain Dog Club, the shows attract 1000 dogs each day, presented by local dog fanciers as well as owners and professional handlers from all over the US and Canada. Come see many of the top dogs in the country! (Exhibitors, please note the superintendent this year will be Rau Dog Shows.) There will be four all-breed dog shows, obedience trials, and rally trials. Group judging, where the best of breed winners compete against similar breeds in each of seven recognized groups, begins around…

Health clinics at the Vermont Scenic Circuit
The Vermont Scenic Circuit will include a health clinic along with its show on Saturday, July 12 in Tunbridge, Vermont. Testing will be offered for eyes (CAER), cardio (auscultation and advanced), and hearing (Baer). Preregistration is required, though walk-ins will be accepted day of the show if time permits.
